How to apply - UK and Ireland roles

Current Capita vacancies are advertised on this careers site. You can register and apply for UK and Ireland roles through our online job search facility which allows you to search according to location, job title or key skills in order to find the right role for you.

Roles within Capita and its business units

Due to the size of Capita and the continued need to develop service capabilities, we are always looking for skilled individuals to bring talent to the business. For this reason, we have a dedicated recruitment team responsible for matching your capabilities to current vacancies.

Once you have registered with us and applied, you will receive an email confirming receipt of your application. Your application will be handled by a professional and experienced Internal Resourcing Consultant, who will consider it fairly and in accordance with our commitment to equal opportunities.

Capita is a large, diverse business with many separate divisions, each operating a slightly different recruitment process. As a result, we use a number of different approaches to understand more about you, including:

  • Telephone interview – a great way for you to get more information on Capita and the job you've applied for, and for us to find out whether your skills and experience match the job.
  • Competency interview – where we talk about work situations, what you did to deliver a great result and how you went about it. 
  • Technical interview – for more technical roles, we may ask you to share details of your technical skills and experience. 
  • Psychometric tests (required for some roles) – these tests will assess your verbal and numerical reasoning, or personality characteristics, and make sure they fit the role. 
  • Assessment Centre – In some cases you may be asked to visit one of our assessment centres, where you'll complete a number of activities, including competency interviews and perhaps a group exercise or case study.

Work permits

Capita is unable to employ anyone who does not have the right to work in the UK. We are also unable to apply for work permits for individual jobs, until all UK and European Economic Area employment sources have been exhausted.
