GPs are now being asked to take a central role in the commissioning of health care. No one else is better placed to understand the needs of patients in the NHS than the family doctor. Often working for many years in the same communities GP’s have an instinctive understanding of the needs of both individuals and groups. At Capita we can build on this local knowledge with a range of services the newly-forming Clinical Commissioning Groups will require providing the support and tools necessary for making informed decisions.
