The Capita Group takes security very seriously, both internally and on behalf of its clients. As part of our ongoing investment in security, we are taking steps to further ensure the integrity and safety of confidential emails.
Sending emails across the internet is not secure as they can be intercepted and read. Capita has therefore decided to introduce a system whereby emails can be sent in an encrypted form.
Receiving a message
If you receive a secure message from Capita, you will get a notification similar to the message below (It is a good idea to keep this notification as a reference and as a way to go back to the email quickly):

Reading your messageTo read your message click on the highlighted link.

This will open your web browser and bring up a new page asking you to register (see below). You only need to register once, after which all subsequent emails will ask you to enter the password you created when registering.

The screen below is the initial registration screen where you will need to create a password based on the rules shown on the right of the screen.
Reading your email
Once registered you can read the email you’ve been sent then reply, forward or delete it.

The encrypted email is stored safely in the your email system. It is not possible to see the content of the email unless you go through the above process.
